Meet the teachers and experts of JAM

It's so important that whether your child it 5 years old, 16 years old, or you're an adult student yourself, that you feel comfortable and in good hands when learning a new instrument, or jammin' out in a band.

Not only do we have experts in their field, but also past students who have learnt from the best to not only display expert tuition, but have learnt 'the JAM way' in showing your child what they can be, someone to look up to and show them what's possible with a Peer 2 Peer style of learning.

  • Lisa Harrison - Vocal Teacher

Lisa began with a bontempi keyboard, her voice and lyrics when she was a kid.  Wherever and whenever she could,  Lisa would create melodies and be free to be creative. Lisa studied at the Canadian Academy of Vocal Music in Toronto for 3 years. During that period, she also was fortunate to have a record deal, and as a young artist, she wrote and co-wrote songs, with plenty of time in the studio, plus performing live sets. Back in the UK,  she put herself to work wherever there was an opportunity to sing - either live as a front person, backing vocals, song writing and studio work.  She then joined a band. "There is nothing quite like the bond between band members, all creating a sound together".  More recently Lisa coasted along by performing covers at venues overseas in Azerbaijan and Dubai and that was fantastic.

"I absolutely love the journey of helping to develop and improve a student’s breath control, their range, confidence, dynamics and performance, with evidence demonstrated when they perform their song or set - they discover they can now sustain the notes, use their diaphragm and really know what their voice can do".
